Keyboard shortcuts

Every key the editor answers, for transport, the timeline and saving.

Every key the editor answers. None fires while you are typing in a field or on the canvas.

Transport

`Home`	Scrub to the start
`End`	Scrub to the end
`⌘` scroll	Zoom the time scale over the timeline

`Z`	Add a zoom at the playhead
`D`	Add a card tilt at the playhead
`S`	Add a speed change at the playhead
`F`	Freeze the frame at the playhead
`W`	Move the webcam at the playhead
`T`	Add a text overlay at the playhead
`H`	Add an HTML layer at the playhead
`←` `→`	Nudge the selected item 0.05 s
`⇧←` `⇧→`	Nudge the selected item 0.5 s
`,` `.`	Nudge one frame
`⇧,` `⇧.`	Nudge ten frames
`Delete` or `Backspace`	Remove the selected clip or keyframe
`Escape`	Clear a range drag, or close a compare

`⌘S`	Save the draft now, or open the Save dialog if nothing is saved yet
`⌘⌥S`	Make a checkpoint and open History

⌘S never makes a version; see Save and autosave. In the recorder, ⌘⇧S stops the take.
