Questions

What is a screen recorder with auto zoom?

An auto-zoom screen recorder captures your screen and automatically zooms in on the parts that matter: clicks, typing, cursor movement. The result looks professionally edited without manual keyframing. The vosso recorder plans these zooms from your real cursor data and lets you adjust every one afterwards.

Is the recorder free?

Yes. Recording, editing, and exporting are free: no watermark, and every resolution up to 4K. Recording and editing need no account; exporting needs a free one, which costs nothing and unlocks nothing extra. Fair-use limits keep it free: recordings up to 30 min, 5 GB of footage per account. The video renders and exports entirely in your browser.

Does it work on Windows, Mac, and Linux?

Yes. The vosso recorder runs in Chrome and Edge on any desktop operating system. Unlike Mac-only desktop recorders, there is nothing to install beyond the browser extension. The editor runs at vos.so.

How is vosso different from Loom or Screen Studio?

They sell the first video; vosso keeps it current. Loom is built around instant sharing and Screen Studio is a paid, Mac-only desktop app; both hand you pixels. A vosso take is a document: the next release re-records the same flow, reuses the cut, and re-renders the demo, the store listing and the social card. Desktop apps still win for full-desktop 4K capture.

Where do my recordings go?

Nowhere, unless you say so. The recorder captures and encodes video locally in your browser and hands it to the studio on the same device. Exporting renders on your machine too, so the video itself never uploads, even though export asks you to sign in first. Saving a project to vos.so is the one action that sends anything.

What can it record?

A browser tab (sized exactly, no letterboxing), an application window, or your entire screen. Tab recordings carry the richest data, where every click knows which element it hit. Window and screen takes still get smoothed cursor and zoom planning from screen-space tracking.
