3D typefaces

The hosted faces extruded 3D text renders from, and how to name them.

Extruded 3D text (objects entries with kind: "text3d") renders from converted typeface files, one hosted face per family. This page is generated from the same catalog module the 3D prop panel and the CLI lints read.

Using a typeface

Name the family (or its slug) on the object; unknown names fall back to Lexend, the house default:

JSON
"objects": [{ "id": "p0",
              "asset": { "kind": "text3d", "text": "Ship it",
                         "typeface": "Bebas Neue", "material": "metal" },
              "transform3d": { "x": 0.5, "y": 0.5, "z": 0.4,
                               "rx": 0, "ry": 0, "rz": 0, "scale": 0.3 } }]

Materials are fleet-audited (standard | metal | glass | neon); geometry is normalized so scale means the same thing as every other object.
