Record

Take a screenshot

Shot mode captures one frame instantly and opens it in the studio as a take.

previous← Tab and system audionextRecord without the extension →

Pick Shot under Capture mode on the record page to take a screenshot instead of a recording. The heading changes to Take a screenshot.

  • This tab captures the visible area of the page.
  • Window and Entire screen capture one frame of what you pick in Chrome's dialog.

Press Capture screenshot. It is snapped instantly, then the studio opens with the shot as a take of one frame.

From there it edits like any take: give it a backdrop, a frame, a text layer, and export it as a PNG.
