Remix and duplicate

Remix someone else's vos into a copy of your own, or duplicate one of yours from the shelf.

previous← Embed a vosnextEvery release →

Someone else's vos is remixed; your own is duplicated. Both give you a copy to edit without touching the original.

Remix someone else's

Press Remix on their watch page. The vos opens in the studio as a copy in your browser, and the topbar reads Draft kept on this device. Save a copy makes it yours. Edit as you like, then press Save a copy to put it in your projects. The copy keeps its lineage, so it records which vos it came from.

Duplicate your own

On the Projects shelf, open the row's menu and press Duplicate. A private copy lands on your shelf beside the original, ready to open in the editor like any row. Use it to try a different cut of a take, or to start a new program from one you already have.

Either way the original is untouched, and the copy is yours: its visibility starts private and you decide who can open it; see Publish.
