Record

Record with the CLI

Drive a page from a click path with vos record, then open the take in the studio.

previous← Bring a video filenextZooms →

Record a page from the terminal with one command:

Shell
vos record --actions actions.json --out take --strict

The CLI drives the page with Playwright, performs the click path written in actions.json, records it, and plans zooms from the cursor track it synthesizes as it goes. The result lands in the take directory. With --strict the run stops on a step it could not perform.

Open the take in the studio to edit it:

Shell
vos open take

Installing and signing in is on Install and login, the click path's format on actions.json, and every verb on Verbs. What lands in the directory is on The take directory.
