Record a tab
Click the icon on a tab, press Start recording, stop with the icon or ⌘⇧S, and edit.
Click the vosso icon on the tab you want to record. The record page opens with This tab picked, the source with the sharpest auto-zoom, and a live preview of your microphone and camera.
Pick your devices or leave both off, then press Start recording. You jump back to your tab, then a 3-2-1 countdown, and the take begins. A take is the recording plus its cursor track and, later, your edits.
While you record
The record page stays open as the control surface, with a timer and the state RECORDING.
- Stop and edit ends the take and opens it in the studio.
- Pause holds the take; Resume continues it.
- Restart throws the take away and starts fresh on the same tab.
- Delete discards the take.
Stop any time with ⌘⇧S or a click on the vosso icon; both stop
immediately. The take opens in the studio at vos.so/studio in the same
window, and the record tab closes.
A take runs up to 30 minutes. In the last minute the state reads STOPPING AT 30 MIN, and the cap stops the take like a press on Stop.
The tab's own sound is captured with it; see Tab and system audio. The studio then plans a zoom for every click, which you adjust on the timeline; see Make your first video.
