Record

Install the recorder

Add the vosso recorder to Chrome, enable your devices once, and pin the icon.

Install the vosso recorder from the Chrome Web Store, linked from /recorder. It records any tab in one click and carries the cursor track the studio uses to plan zooms.

The first time it opens, the record page reads vosso is ready. Enable your microphone and camera here once; after that, recording any tab takes one click and no prompts. You can also leave both off.

Pin the icon

Pin the vosso icon in Chrome's toolbar so it stays in reach. Click it on a tab to open the record page; click it again while recording to stop.

Permissions

The extension asks for no site permissions when it installs. The click on the icon grants it access to that one tab, so it never watches pages you are not recording. If you click it on a page Chrome cannot record, the record page says so: Open the page you want to record, then click the vosso icon on it. For a local file, enable Allow access to file URLs in the extension's settings.

Some pages embed parts of other sites in frames. Turn on Track the cursor in embedded frames on the record page and grant site access if you want the cursor tracked inside them too.

Takes open in the vos.so studio. Editing needs no account, and exporting asks for a free one. Next: Record a tab.
